A man seeks a Guru for the wisdom of success and unlimited riches. He finds this guru and asks, “How can I succeed and live a life fulfilled?” The Guru says, “Meet me at the beach tomorrow at 4am. To this the young man agrees. The young man shows up at 3am excited and feeling it is better to be an hour early than a minute late. The guru arrives at 4am and immediately asks the young man to follow him out into the ocean. At first the young man walks out to a point where the water is at his knees. The guru, having gone much further, turns and beckons the young man to come further. The young man proceeds but stops when the water reaches his waist. The guru calls to the young man stating, "you must join me in the deep water if you wish to learn the secret!” The young man starts to turn back to the beach, but then reluctantly moves out to where the guru is. The water is up to his neck as he looks into the Guru’s eyes. The guru reaches out and grabs the young man, pushes his head under water. The young man screams inside for breath. He pushes and pulls at the Guru with all his strength to no avail. Just when he believes all is lost and that he will drown the guru releases his grip and the young man’s head emerges from the water. The sweet, cool ocean air fills his lungs. As relief continues to fill his body the young man turns to the Guru. The Guru says,“Remember being under water and how badly you wanted to take a breath, success and unlimited riches will truly come to the man who wants it as much as they want the air they breathe.”
